The body takes its cue from the straight cutaway of a Selmer-Maccaferri guitar. Its balance and contours were developed with seated playing in mind.
An asymmetrical medium-C profile and rolled fingerboard edges shape the feel of the neck. The body and neck are considered together, including how your hand reaches the upper frets.

A neck joint that reaches
beneath the pickups.
The extended heel gives the neck and body a broad contact area beneath the pickups. Eight machine screws engage threaded inserts through a recessed steel plate, holding the joint together while allowing the neck to be removed for service.

Materials and construction.
Roasted woods and carbon-fiber reinforcement help the neck remain stable. Wenge and Macassar ebony offer distinct grain and feel at the fingerboard. The specification brings those material choices together with the hardware and electronics below.

Finish treatment
Every instrument is finished to order in lacquer. Aging begins at closet classic, with light handling wear and finish checking, and can extend to heavier wear. We do not offer a factory-clean finish.
Warranty
A lifetime warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship for the original owner. Normal wear, accidental damage, neglect, and unauthorized repairs are excluded.

A bridge that locks
after adjustment.
The AE-CS1 is designed to combine six independently adjustable saddles with an adjustable sustain block. Once the setup is established, broad mating surfaces lock together beneath the strings.
